ProBear exists 25 years. This anniversary year ProBear will monthly release a new pattern of a bear or another animal. This means that you can subscribe, with a nice discount, to 12 new patterns.
This month we released Jarno, the third pattern of our anniversary.
Jarno is designed by Hester van Lee. We would like to introduce Hester to you.
Hester van Lee was born in Amsterdam, but now she is living in Enschede. She has always been creative. First she started with photography, then she took up making dolls and finally she started fabricating bears. Marian Haarink learned her to make bears. In Mai Marian will suprise you with her new anniversary pattern. Hesther thought herself to design patterns. In the last years she created about thirty patterns for ProBear.
Hester loves to share her knowledge and also teaches workshops. Every year you can follow her class At ProBear to learn all her tips and tricks.

The picture above shows Jarno, a bear with an open mouth. This takes very different techniques than creating a normal bear face. The bear is 30 centimeters and the used fabric is a one-off, curly anniversary mohair off Steiff-Schulte.
